Como parte de las actividades del III congreso internacional de arquitectura CONSTRUTEC COAM, el martes 5 de octubre de 2010 se inaugura la exposición “Futuro. En pausa” en el Pabellón 9 de la Feria de Madrid IFEMA. La muestra permanecerá abierta hasta el viernes 8 de octubre, fecha en la que cierra sus puertas la Feria de la construcción CONSTRUTEC.
Su objetivo es el de mostrar una visión futura de la ciudad de Madrid. Reúne más de 120 proyectos realizados en el área metropolitana de la ciudad que se encuentran en cualquiera de sus fases de desarrollo, muchos de ellos parados por la crisis actual.
Entre los proyectos seleccionados se encuentra el nuevo mercado de la cebada, obra del estudio Rubio & Álvarez-Sala, actualmente en fase de construcción.

As part of the activities of the III congress of international architecture CONSTRUTEC COAM, on Tuesday, the 5th of October, 2010 the exhibition "Future. In pause" will be inaugurated in the 9th Pavilion of the Fair of Madrid IFEMA. The sample will remain opened until Friday, 8th of October, date in which the Fair of the construction CONSTRUTEC will close its doors.
The aim of the exhibition is showing a future vision of the city of Madrid. It assembles more than 120 projects realized in the metropolitan area of the city, in any of his phases of development, many of them stopped by the current crisis.
Among the selected projects, you can find the "new market of the cebada" (barley), work of the team Rubio & Álvarez-sala, in phase of construction.
